Minneapolis officer charged in Apple Valley bank robbery; additional charges expected (UPDATE)
A Minneapolis police officer was charged today in U.S. District Court for allegedly robbing an Apple Valley bank at gunpoint. Rosemount resident Timothy Edward Carson, a patrol officer in the Minneapolis Police Department;s third precinct and a SWAT member, faces on one count of bank robbery.

Apple Valley bank robbed at gunpoint Wednesday; third armed robbery in the city in two days
An Apple Valley bank was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning, marking the third armed robbery in the city in two days. Police have not yet determined if the robbery at 9:17 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Wells Fargo Bank, 15574 Pilot Knob Road, is related to several other recent incidents.
